Use This Library Before You Price The Remodel

A kitchen estimate gets sharper when you can describe the scope. "New kitchen" is broad. "Keep the footprint, replace cabinets, add quartz counters, install backsplash tile, improve task lighting, and coordinate the sink and dishwasher" gives the conversation something solid to work from.

Walk The Room First

  • Mark what is broken, inconvenient, or merely dated.
  • Note appliance sizes, cabinet problems, flooring transitions, and weak lighting.
  • Photograph water damage, old outlets, tight clearances, and worn finishes.
  • List what must stay, what can change, and what would be nice if budget allows.

Pick The Biggest Unknown

If layout is the problem, start with full remodeling or systems. If clutter is the issue, start with cabinets. If the room works but feels tired, start with surfaces. If the property type creates constraints, start with property-specific kitchens.
